These award trophies were made for Crumbs magazine for their 2017 awards. Crumbs magazine celebrates the food and drink scene of Bristol, Bath and the surrounding areas.
The brief was to design an award that would look great on a shelf at a winning venue, featured the Crumbs knife and fork imagery, and also acknowledged the artisanal, one-off nature of small food and drink producers. The knife and fork are set into a piece of spalted beech using concrete. The Crumbs logo is burnt on using a custom made brand to reference cooking, and the winners details were hand-punched by myself onto the fronts. These processes mean that every award is unique.
