This was a project that celebrated hand craft, and the interactions that occur between head, hand and material that guide the process towards the finished object, in this case turning a piece of metal billet into a spoon.

I produced a set of steel spoons using a coal forge and the hot forging method, and a set of copper spoons using the cold forging process.
